Bring in Custom Properties from Hubspot

Before reading ahead, please make sure you have your Hubspot account connected to Chaaat. If you're not sure how to, read this article on Connecting to Hubspot.

Once you've connected to Hubspot, Chaaat gets the first name, last name, email and phone number of every new contact created on Hubspot. You can find out more about our powerful integration features here in Making full use of the Hubspot Integration Features.

If you wish to bring in a few more contact properties from Hubspot, say the Facebook ad campaign tag or the annual revenue of the contact, Chaaat can handle that too. Here's how:

Step 1:

Go on to your Hubspot account and click the edit properties button in the action menu on the top right corner of the contacts page.

Step 2:

Find the internal name of the property you want to import (it could be a default or a custom property)

Step 3:

Let Chaaat know the internal name so that we can import the property onto our systems (we're working hard on automating this).

Step 4:

Watch the property come into the Chaaat and use it to filter your contacts. Find out more about how to filter on various properties and save them as views in our article on custom views.
